• Sarracenia Smoorii

Sarracenia Smoorii is a very unique and fascinating indoor plant that has foliage which is unrivalled by the majority of indoor plants. Plants from the Sarracenia genus have this foliage as a common feature - a tubular-shaped formation in the vertical, bright green foliage, with deep red veining joining on to create a very interesting look. The plant can be more commonly known as the Trumpet Pitcher Plant, but it is also well-known for being a Fly Trap - meaning unwanted insects dispersed from the air when they attach themselves to the inner section of the plants foliage. You should place the plant in an area where direct sunlight is available to the plant on most occasions. When going on to care for the plant, rainwater or low-limescale water is considered the best formula for the Smoorii. Do this well and regularly to see the best plant progression and growth.
